Now in Portland, OR, where I'm cocreating a youth-run farmer's market as an entrepreneurial/sustainable community development educational project, and future duplicatable template. Also am advising for the Community Credit Network of Portland where we are organizing to launch a local exchange program using a system called Community Way by Michael Linton. And I've also recently joined Primerica and have started working helping families get out of debt and attain financial independence; these are also personal goals of mine. 

I have been an outdoor educator by livelihood, and have lived to try to bring others and myself closer to the Earth through personal development and environmental studies.  I have worked for a few environmental education programs in southern California, a wilderness therapy program in Utah, and have a various adventure/outdoor experiential educational background tagged onto a a couple of years of formal liberal arts study. 

I love to explore the land on foot, out of a backpack, in a boat, and with as open a heart as possible. I believe we can each remember what we came here to do through embracing our larger, ecocentric self.  I am continually amazed and inspired by the works of soulcentric, cultural creatives in a variety of fields who are changing our world in all the right ways. One of my greatest hopes is to take up my own place some time soon.

The new picture posted on my profile page is of Mt. Hood and downtown Portland. It represents the connection of nature, the mountain, and the city, and culture. May I strike a new balance between the two.

I am here on Gaia because I love the opportunity to share who I am with you all, without judgement.  I also like to discover who the amazing folks are out there, and all the fantabulous things you're doing with these precious, wild, human lives we have to lead.
